PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

beybladeshoponline.shop is an impersonation phishing page posing as an online Beyblade store. Its German-language storefront offers Beyblade Burst tops, arenas and starter sets, aimed at parents, collectors and fans shopping for the toys. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-10-16. As of 2026-10-19 the site is still online and serving its shop content.

How the scam works

The page presents itself as "Beyblade Burst, Arenen und Starter-Sets | Beyblade Shop" and borrows the brand name and product range to look like a legitimate retailer. Fake shops of this kind typically lure buyers with discounted prices on popular items, then collect names, delivery addresses, email addresses and payment card details at checkout. Victims usually receive nothing, or a cheap item unrelated to the order. Their card data can then be reused for further fraud.

Evidence

urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically flagged it as a fake shop. On VirusTotal, 6 of 92 engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-19: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and SOCRadar. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as spam. It also appears in 3 AlienVault OTX threat pulses and on the PhishDestroy blocklist. The VirusTotal detection count is still modest, so many security tools may not block it yet.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-05-18 through Dynadot Inc., about five months before PhishDestroy detected it. It resolves to an IP address on the Malakmadze Web LLC network, which is registered in Georgia, and the server is located in the United States. The site uses a TLS certificate from Let's Encrypt (YE1), so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the shop is genuine.

What to do

If you placed an order or entered card details on this site, contact your bank or card issuer right away to block the card and dispute the charge. Keep your order confirmation and any emails as evidence. If you reused the password you created at checkout anywhere else, change it on those accounts. Treat any follow-up messages that mention your order as possible phishing. Security teams should block the domain and its hosting IP at the DNS and proxy level and add it to web filtering lists. Retail and toy brand protection teams can report the site to the registrar and hosting provider for takedown.
