PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

beccuelucu.media is an impersonation phishing site. It sits on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, which points to crypto wallet users as its main targets. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-10-07. As of 2026-10-19 the domain was still online and serving live content.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages copy the look of a trusted service so visitors believe they are on the real site. They then ask for a wallet connection, a seed phrase, a login or a transaction signature. Anyone who complies can lose control of their wallet or sign away tokens to the operator. The page title reads "This page is blocked by service provider.", which does not match the impersonation classification we assigned.

Evidence

Seven of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain when it was checked on 2026-10-11: Bfore.Ai PreCrime, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and VIPRE. That is a minority of engines, but the vendors are independent and include predictive and phishing-focused feeds. The listings on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists matter more for wallet users, because those lists are built specifically around crypto threats. Three AlienVault OTX pulses also reference the domain, so other researchers are tracking it too.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through NameCheap, Inc. on 2026-04-27, roughly five months before PhishDestroy caught it. That gap suggests it was either parked before use or operated quietly for a while. It resolves behind Cloudflare in the US, which hides the real origin server. Its free Let's Encrypt certificate means the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.

What to do

If you connected a wallet to this site, use a token-approval checker to revoke any permissions you granted it. Move your funds to a fresh wallet if you signed anything you did not understand. If you typed in a seed phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and transfer its assets right away. If you entered a password, change it and turn on 2FA wherever you reused it. Defenders should block beccuelucu.media at the DNS and proxy level, search their logs for past visits, and report it to Cloudflare and NameCheap for takedown.
