PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

ayerxhub.org is an impersonation phishing page built to pass itself off as a legitimate service and harvest whatever visitors type into it. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-04, two days after the domain was registered. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its content, so anyone who receives a link to it today can still land on a working page.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages copy the look, wording and login flow of a service the victim already trusts, then collect what is entered. That can be account passwords, one-time 2FA codes, email access, or wallet recovery phrases, which the operators use to take over accounts or empty funds. The browser tab shows only the bare address rather than a brand name, so the page title does not reveal which service is being imitated. This does not change our impersonation classification. Links to pages like this usually arrive through direct messages, fake support replies, ads or social posts that push urgency.

Evidence

Six of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-06: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Fortinet, SOCRadar, URLQuery and desenmascara.me. That is a modest count, but it comes from vendors working independently, within days of registration. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL under the spam category, and it appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses. Among blocklists it is carried by PhishDestroy, so many browsers and filters may still let it through without a warning.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-10-02 through TUCOWS.COM, CO. and was already being reported within 48 hours. That short gap is typical of throwaway phishing domains set up for a single campaign. It resolves to an address announced by NEW DHAKA HARDWARE, a Bangladeshi network, while the IP itself geolocates to the United States. The padlock comes from a free Let's Encrypt certificate, which only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site is honest.

What to do

If you typed a password on ayerxhub.org, change it at once on the real service and anywhere else you reused it, then turn on or reset 2FA and sign out all active sessions. If you entered a wallet seed phrase or private key, treat that wallet as compromised and move any remaining assets to a newly created wallet. Watch your email and accounts for recovery or login alerts you did not trigger. Security teams should block the domain and its hosting address at DNS and proxy level, search mail and chat logs for the domain to find exposed users, and report it to the registrar and host.
