PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

ashleystewartchic.com is an impersonation phishing site that presents itself as Princess Polly, the women's fashion retailer, under the page title "Shop Women's Fashion & Clothing Online | Princess Polly". The domain name borrows the Ashley Stewart name while the storefront carries Princess Polly branding, so both retailers' shoppers are potential targets. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-04, and as of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its shop pages.

How the scam works

The site copies the look of a familiar clothing store to lure shoppers who are hunting for deals or who arrive from ads and social media posts. Visitors fill a cart, register an account and check out, which hands over their name, address, email, phone number and full card details. Orders from shops like this typically never arrive or are replaced with cheap substitutes. The stolen card data can then be reused for further fraud.

Evidence

urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically identified it as a fake shop, which matches our classification. On 2026-10-07, 7 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged it: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and SOCRadar. That is a minority of engines, so many browsers and filters will still let the page load. The domain also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses and on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-08-21 through TuringSign Inc. d/b/a Cosmotown, roughly six weeks before we detected it. That short gap is typical of throwaway storefronts built to run briefly and then be replaced. The site runs on 162.222.90.162, on a network registered to Malakmadze Web LLC in Georgia, with the server located in the United States. It uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the shop is legitimate.

What to do

If you paid on this site, contact your card issuer right away, report the charge as fraud, request a chargeback and ask for a replacement card. If you created an account, change that password everywhere you reused it. Expect follow-up emails or texts that mention your "order" or a refund, because they are likely to be phishing. Buy Princess Polly or Ashley Stewart items only through the brands' official sites. Defenders should block the domain and its IP and add the domain to web and email filters.
