Overview

ascadolodge.com is an impersonation phishing page that presents itself as "Ascado". Its page title reads "Ascado - ascadolodge.com". It targets people looking for the Ascado brand who may mistake this domain for the genuine one. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-10. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its content.

How the scam works

Impersonation sites borrow a real brand's name and look so that a visitor trusts them without checking further. Here, the "Ascado" branding in the title and the brand-plus-word domain are what create that false sense of legitimacy. Once trust is established, these pages typically collect logins, personal details or payments that go straight to the operator instead of the real business. Victims can lose account access, money paid for services that never arrive, and personal information that is reused in later fraud.

Evidence

On 2026-10-12, VirusTotal showed 8 of 92 engines flagging the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Dr.Web, G-Data, Gridinsoft, Lionic, Seclookup and SOCRadar.
