PhishDestroy threat report
arloca.shop presents itself as "Boutique Arloca," a French-language store selling artisanal gifts handmade in Québec, Canada. PhishDestroy classifies it as an e-commerce scam: a fake online shop built to take payments from Canadian, especially francophone, shoppers looking for local handmade products. We first saw it on 2026-10-07, and it was still online and serving its storefront on 2026-10-19.
The "made in Québec" pitch is the hook. Buying local crafts feels trustworthy, and shoppers who want to support local artisans are less likely to question an unfamiliar boutique. Fake shops of this kind display attractive products at reasonable or discounted prices and run a normal-looking checkout. Victims typically lose the money they pay, and they either receive nothing or get cheap goods that look nothing like the listings. Card details, names and home addresses entered at checkout can also be reused for further fraud.
urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically flagged it as a fake shop. That matters because the verdict comes from analysis of the page itself, not only from the domain name. On VirusTotal, 6 of 92 engines flagged it as of 2026-10-11: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and Webroot. The count is modest, but these are independent vendors reaching the same conclusion. The domain also appears in 3 AlienVault OTX threat pulses and on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered on 2026-03-26 through Spaceship, Inc., about six months before we detected it. A gap like that lets a storefront collect orders, and possibly reviews or ad traffic, before anyone flags it. The site is hosted on an IP address located in the United States, on a network operated by Malakmadze Web LLC, a Georgian-registered company. A storefront claiming Québec roots that runs from this setup is another reason to doubt its local branding. The site uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser confirms only an encrypted connection, not that the seller is real.
Do not place orders on arloca.shop. If you already paid, contact your card issuer or bank right away, request a chargeback for goods not received or misrepresented, and keep any order confirmations or emails as proof. If you entered card details, ask your bank to cancel and reissue the card, and watch your statements for unfamiliar charges. Be wary of follow-up emails about "shipping problems" or refunds that ask for more payment or personal information. Defenders and payment providers should block the domain, and Canadian consumers can report it to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.

This report combines saved page captures, registration and network records, scanner results and PhishDestroy reporting history. Each source keeps its own observation date. Open a source report to inspect the original result.
