Overview

airvoelwellness.shop is a fake online shop. Its page title calls it the "Air Voel CPAP Store Canada" and a "Trusted CPAP Vendor." It targets Canadians shopping for CPAP machines and supplies, a costly medical purchase that people often make in a hurry. PhishDestroy first saw the domain on 2026-09-25. As of 2026-10-19 the site is still online and serving its storefront.

How the scam works

Sites like this copy the look of a medical equipment retailer, then list CPAP machines, masks and accessories at prices low enough to win a comparison shopper. They lean on trust words such as "Canadian supply" and "trusted vendor" to reassure buyers who need the device for a health condition. The buyer pays by card or another method and gets nothing, a cheap substitute, or tracking numbers that never resolve. Along the way the shop collects the buyer's payment details, home address and sometimes health information. All of that can be reused or sold.

Evidence

On 2026-10-02, 9 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain, among them alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, CyRadar, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and SOCRadar. That is a minority of engines, but it is consistent coverage from vendors that track fraud. urlscan.io gives a malicious verdict and specifically identifies the site as a fake shop. The domain also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX pulses and on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through Spaceship, Inc. on 2026-03-23, about six months before PhishDestroy detected it. It sits on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in Georgia. That is an unusual home for a store that markets itself as Canadian, and the mismatch is a useful warning sign for shoppers.
