PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

ahmedperfumesglobal.shop is a fake online shop that presents itself as the Pakistani storefront of Ahmed Al Maghribi Perfumes, a well-known Middle Eastern fragrance house. Its page title, "Ahmed Perfumes Pakistan | Ahmed Al Maghribi Perfumes in Pakistan | Ahmed Perfumes," is written to catch shoppers in Pakistan searching for the brand. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-25. The site was still online and serving its shop content when last checked on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Fake perfume stores borrow a real brand's name, product photos and prices to look like an official or authorized seller. Shoppers pick items, enter their name, address and phone number, and pay by card or bank transfer. The genuine product never arrives, or a cheap counterfeit does. Victims lose the money they paid, and the contact and payment details they typed in can be reused for further fraud.

Evidence

Eight of 91 security engines on VirusTotal flagged the domain as of 2026-09-27: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue, Netcraft and Webroot. That is a minority of engines, but the vendors come from separate detection ecosystems and reached the same conclusion on their own. urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically marked it as a fake shop, which matches our classification. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tracked it as well. Among blocklists, it is currently listed by PhishDestroy.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through Spaceship, Inc. on 2026-03-23, about six months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests it was either kept in reserve or ran quietly before drawing attention. The site is hosted on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in Georgia, far from the Pakistani market it targets. Its certificate comes from Let's Encrypt, so the padlock in the browser only means the connection is encrypted. It does not mean the shop is legitimate.

What to do

If you ordered from this site, contact your bank or card issuer right away. Report the payment as fraud and ask about a chargeback or reversal. Keep any order confirmations, chat messages and receipts as evidence. If you entered card details, ask for the card to be replaced. Expect follow-up scam calls, texts or WhatsApp messages using the name and phone number you gave, and do not pay any "delivery" or "customs" fees they request. Buy Ahmed Al Maghribi products only through channels the brand itself lists. Defenders should block the domain and its hosting IP and watch for similar brand-name lookalikes on cheap top-level domains.
