PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

abstracthelp.pages.dev is a phishing page that impersonates Cloudflare. The MetaMask and SEAL blocklists both list it, which points to crypto wallet users as the main targets. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-08-28. The site has been offline since 2026-09-13, Cloudflare has blocked its content, and it was still down when last checked on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Cloudflare impersonation pages exploit how familiar people are with Cloudflare's security checks. A visitor sees what looks like a routine verification or help screen and is told to complete a step to continue, such as signing in or approving an action. Whatever the victim enters or authorizes goes to the operator, not to Cloudflare. The page title is now "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", which is the label Cloudflare shows on blocked content, while our classification describes the original site as Cloudflare impersonation.

Evidence

No antivirus engine flagged the site. VirusTotal checked it on 2026-09-13 and recorded 0 detections from 89 engines, so a clean scan there should not be read as proof of safety. The stronger signals come from crypto-focused sources: MetaMask and SEAL both list the domain alongside PhishDestroy. Cloudflare's own block of the content independently supports the phishing classification.

Infrastructure

The site ran as a Cloudflare Pages project created on 2025-07-10, more than a year before PhishDestroy detected it on 2026-08-28. Free Pages subdomains let operators borrow Cloudflare's trusted name, which suits a page pretending to be Cloudflare. Traffic resolved to Cloudflare, Inc. address space located in Canada. Because the platform is also the impersonated brand, the provider was well placed to act, and it cut off the content.

What to do

If you typed a password on this page, change it right away, and do the same anywhere else you reused it. Turn on app-based two-factor authentication and review recent login activity on the affected accounts. If you connected a crypto wallet or signed anything, review and revoke token approvals you do not recognize, and move funds to a fresh wallet if you entered a seed phrase. Real Cloudflare checks never ask for wallet connections or recovery phrases. Defenders should block the domain and look for other Pages subdomains that use Cloudflare branding with help or verification wording.
