worldwsebit.com is an impersonation phishing page that copies Robinhood to target people who trade stocks and crypto. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-23, two days after the domain was registered. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its phishing content. The browser tab reads "WSE" rather than Robinhood, but urlscan.io identified Robinhood branding on the page, and we classify it as an impersonation of that brand.
How the scam works
Sites like this borrow a trusted brokerage's look so visitors believe they are signing in to, or funding, a real account. Victims are typically asked for their email, password and one-time 2FA codes, which go straight to the operators and let them take over the genuine account. Some variants present a fake trading dashboard, here labelled "WSE", that shows profits, invites deposits, and then demands extra "fees" before any withdrawal. In either version the losses are stolen credentials, a hijacked account, and money sent to the scammers.
Evidence
urlscan.io rated the page malicious and matched it to Robinhood, the clearest independent confirmation of the impersonation. On VirusTotal, only 2 of 89 engines, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and Kaspersky, flagged it on 2026-09-23. That low count reflects how new the domain was, so a mostly clean scan result is not a sign the site is safe. The domain also appears on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists alongside PhishDestroy, and four AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference it.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-09-21 through Cloudflare, Inc. and was already live with phishing content within 48 hours. That kind of quick setup is typical of disposable campaign domains. It resolves to Cloudflare's network with a Canadian location, which hides the actual origin server. The Let's Encrypt certificate gives the page a padlock icon, but it only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
