Overview

usdc022.com is on the PhishDestroy blocklist as a suspicious domain. Its name pairs the USDC stablecoin ticker with a number, the kind of label that can pass for an official or regional USDC service at a glance. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-09, and it was still online and serving live content on 2026-10-19. The page title reads "onkeyon," which does not reference USDC. We have not yet assigned this domain a specific scheme classification.

How the scam works

No specific kit or scam flow has been confirmed here, so the risk comes from what the domain shows. A domain built around a stablecoin's name, with an unrelated page title, is the pattern often seen on sites that ask visitors to connect a wallet, deposit USDC or enter account details. On sites like this, the usual losses are funds sent directly to the operator, token approvals that let someone else move your balance, or login credentials taken for reuse. Treat any request on this site to connect, sign, deposit or log in as hostile.

Evidence

On 2026-10-17, six of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, LevelBlue, SOCRadar and VIPRE. That is a minority of engines, but the flags come from six separate vendors and point the same way as our own listing. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which means other researchers have tracked it independently. Among the blocklists we checked, only PhishDestroy lists it.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2025-11-09 through Gname.com Pte. Ltd., about eleven months before PhishDestroy flagged it. A gap that long suggests it was set up in advance rather than spun up for a single short campaign. It resolves through Cloudflare's network, geolocated to Canada, so the real origin server is hidden behind the proxy.

What to do

Do not connect a wallet, sign transactions or send USDC or any other funds through usdc022.com. If you already connected a wallet, use a token-approval checker to revoke any permissions granted during the visit, and move remaining assets to a fresh wallet if you signed anything you did not understand. If you entered a password or exchange login, change it right away, turn on app-based 2FA and review your recent account activity. Defenders should block the domain, check web and DNS logs for visits since 2026-10-09, and report it to Cloudflare and the registrar.
