PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

the-rainbet-com.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page built to pass as Rainbet, the crypto gambling brand. It targets players who expect to log in, deposit or connect a wallet. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-08. Cloudflare has blocked the content, and the site has been offline since 2026-09-16, still dead when rechecked on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Fake casino pages copy the real site's look and are spread through ads, direct messages and fake promotions. They then ask the visitor to sign in, top up a balance or connect a wallet to claim a bonus. Whatever is typed or approved goes to the operators, whether that is account credentials, crypto sent to a fake deposit address, or a wallet permission. The current page title reads "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", which is the hosting provider's own warning screen and not the original lure. We classified the domain as Rainbet impersonation based on the content it served before the block.

Evidence

On 2026-09-17, six of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: ChainPatrol, alphaMountain.ai, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet and VIPRE. That count is modest, but it includes a crypto-specific scanner alongside mainstream security vendors. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict. Its only brand match was a generic Cloudflare one, which reflects the warning page now in place. The domain is also listed by MetaMask and SEAL in addition to PhishDestroy, so wallet users are warned before the page loads.

Infrastructure

The site was a free subdomain on Cloudflare Pages, so the operators never had to buy or register a domain. That lets them spin up a new copy quickly once one is removed. It resolved to Cloudflare's network with a Canadian-located address. Its WE1 certificate was issued automatically, so the browser padlock said nothing about legitimacy. The page lasted about eight days between our first sighting and the provider's takedown.

What to do

If you signed in through this page, change your Rainbet password right away, enable two-factor authentication and review recent account activity. Crypto sent to a deposit address shown here went to the scammers. Record the transaction hash and report it to Rainbet support and your local authorities. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, revoke the approvals granted during that session and move funds you still control to a fresh wallet. Defenders should block the domain and watch for lookalike pages.dev subdomains reusing the Rainbet name.
