Overview

strendusbono.com is a gambling site flagged as fraudulent. It trades on the Strendus casino name to reach players in Mexico. Its page title, "Strendus Bono - Bonos Exclusivos Casino México | Promociones y Tiros Gratis 2025", promises exclusive bonuses, promotions and free spins. PhishDestroy first saw the domain on 2026-10-08. As of 2026-10-19 the host still responded, but the domain's DNS was no longer serving its content.

How the scam works

Bonus portals like this one pose as an official promotions page for a known casino brand. Visitors who want the advertised "bonos exclusivos" and "tiros gratis" are pushed to sign up and make a first deposit. Some are also asked for card or identity details. Schemes of this kind often attach impossible wagering conditions to the bonus, or invent verification and withdrawal fees, so winnings and deposits can never be cashed out. Victims lose the money they paid in and may expose payment and personal data to the operators.

Evidence

On 2026-10-11, 8 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the site: ChainPatrol, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and URLQuery. That is a modest count. However, the vendors are spread across web filtering, threat intelligence and crypto-security, which suggests the verdict is not a one-off. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as phishing. Besides PhishDestroy, the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists also carry it, so wallet users get a warning before the page loads.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2025-12-11 through Metaregistrar BV. It ran for roughly ten months before PhishDestroy detected it. It is hosted on the UCLOUD INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (HK) LIMITED network, on an address located in the US. That combination has no visible link to a Mexican casino operator. A legitimate brand would normally publish its promotions on its own domain rather than on a lookalike bonus site.

What to do

If you deposited money or entered card details here, contact your bank or card issuer right away and ask about blocking the card and disputing the charges. Do not pay any further "verification" or "withdrawal" fee in the hope of unlocking winnings. If you reused your password when registering, change it everywhere you used it. Ignore anyone who later offers to recover your losses for a fee.
