PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

ses-binance.com.cn is a phishing page that impersonates Binance, the cryptocurrency exchange, and targets Chinese-speaking users looking for the exchange or its app. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-10-15, the same day the domain was registered. As of 2026-10-19 the site was online and still serving its content.

How the scam works

The page title reads "币安官网 - Binance下载", meaning "Binance Official Site - Binance Download". It presents itself as the exchange's official homepage and app download portal. Fake download portals like this usually push a tampered or counterfeit app, or send visitors to a cloned login screen. Either route captures account credentials, two-factor codes or recovery details. Once attackers have that access, they can log into the real exchange account and withdraw the funds.

Evidence

On VirusTotal, 5 of 92 engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-19: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and VIPRE.
