PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

lemapfrance.org carried a gambling front branded "Dragslot : Trusted Competitive Online Gaming Playing", even though the domain name suggests a French map or community project. PhishDestroy classifies it as a fraudulent gambling site aimed at people looking to play slots and win money online. We first flagged it on 2026-10-11. The site has been offline since 2026-10-14, and on our last check on 2026-10-19 it was still down with no threatening content served.

How the scam works

Fraudulent gambling sites like Dragslot sell trust in their own title, with words like "Trusted" and "Competitive", to get players to deposit. Balances then grow on screen, but cashing out is where the scheme bites. Withdrawals stall behind invented verification steps, "taxes" or unlock fees, or the account is simply frozen. The player loses every deposit and any fee paid to release winnings, and often hands over card details and identity documents along the way.

Evidence

On 2026-10-12, 13 of 92 VirusTotal engines marked the domain as malicious. They include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Dr.Web, ESET, G-Data, Gridinsoft, Kaspersky and Lionic, a mix of independent antivirus and threat-intel vendors. The domain also appears in 34 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other researchers have tracked it as part of wider activity. PhishDestroy lists it on its own blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2024-10-12 through Namecheap Inc. That is almost exactly two years before it surfaced as a gambling front. It resolved to 162.0.235.58 on Namecheap's own hosting network in the United States, so registration and hosting came from a single provider. Its Sectigo DV certificate confirms only control of the domain, not who runs the site, so the browser padlock said nothing about Dragslot's legitimacy.

What to do

If you deposited on Dragslot, stop sending money and ignore any request to pay a fee, tax or deposit to release winnings. Those payments are never returned. Contact your bank or card issuer right away to dispute the charges. If you uploaded ID documents, watch for identity misuse. Be wary of "fund recovery" offers, which often follow gambling fraud. Change any password you reused on the site. Defenders should block the domain and keep watching for the Dragslot name on new domains. Treat the IP as shared hosting rather than blocking it outright.
