ledgrlive--app.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page whose name is a deliberate misspelling of Ledger Live, the companion app for Ledger hardware wallets. The double hyphen and "app" suffix are meant to pass as an official download or web version for anyone holding crypto on a Ledger device. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-08. The site has been offline since 2026-09-17, with its content blocked by the hosting provider, and it was still down when last checked on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Fake Ledger Live pages usually claim the wallet needs an update, a resync or a security check. They then ask the visitor to type in the 24-word recovery phrase. Anyone who enters that phrase hands over full control of every account derived from it, and the attacker can empty the wallet from any device without touching the hardware. The page title now reads "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", which is the provider's warning page rather than the original lure, while our classification is impersonation phishing.
Evidence
On 2026-09-18, 14 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the address. Those engines included alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CyRadar, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft, so the verdict does not rest on a single vendor. urlscan.io rated the page malicious. Beyond PhishDestroy, the domain appears on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, two lists maintained specifically for crypto-wallet threats.
Infrastructure
The site was set up as a free Cloudflare Pages project on 2026-08-13, 26 days before PhishDestroy detected it. That is typical of throwaway phishing deployments that cost nothing to create or replace. It resolved to Cloudflare, Inc. address space located in Canada. Because it sits on a shared pages.dev subdomain, the operator never had to register or pay for a domain of their own.
What to do
If you entered your recovery phrase on this page, treat it as permanently compromised. Set up a new wallet with a fresh phrase on your Ledger device and move all remaining funds to it immediately, before the attacker does. Install Ledger Live only from Ledger's official site, and remember that no legitimate app or support agent will ever ask for your 24 words. Security teams should block this exact subdomain rather than all of pages.dev, and should check proxy and DNS logs for visits between 2026-08-13 and 2026-09-17.
