PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

ledgerr-com-eng.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page hosted on a free Cloudflare Pages subdomain. Its name, a doubled-r "ledgerr" followed by "com-eng", reads like an English-language Ledger address, which points to crypto hardware-wallet owners as the intended audience. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-08-31. The site has been offline since 2026-09-11 after the hosting provider blocked its content, and it was still dead at the last check on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Pages like this copy a trusted wallet brand's look so visitors believe they are on an official support or setup portal. They then ask for something that hands over the account, typically a 24-word recovery phrase or a wallet connection, and anyone who complies can lose every asset in that wallet. The page title now reads "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare" and the brand detected is Cloudflare, while we classified the site as impersonation phishing. That title is the provider's own warning screen replacing the original content.

Evidence

Eleven of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the site as of 2026-09-13. The vendors include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft and Kaspersky. That is a modest share, but these are independent engines that reached the same conclusion. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict. The domain is also listed by MetaMask and SEAL alongside PhishDestroy, so wallet users with MetaMask's protection would have been warned before reaching it.

Infrastructure

The pages.dev subdomain was created on 2025-10-07, nearly eleven months before PhishDestroy detected it. Free static-hosting subdomains let operators borrow a reputable parent domain and valid HTTPS at no cost, so a padlock and a familiar platform name meant nothing here. Traffic resolved through Cloudflare, Inc. infrastructure geolocated in Canada, and the same provider's block is what took the page offline.

What to do

If you typed a recovery phrase into this site, treat that wallet as compromised. Move any remaining funds to a new wallet created on a trusted device with a fresh phrase, and stop using the old one. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, review and revoke token approvals you do not recognise. Ledger never asks for a recovery phrase through a website, so any page that does is a scam. Defenders should keep the domain on blocklists and watch for lookalike pages.dev subdomains reusing the "ledgerr" pattern.
