ledger--live--enn.pages.dev was a phishing page impersonating Ledger. It presented itself as "Ledger Live Wallet — Technical Edition" to target owners of Ledger hardware wallets who might be looking for the companion app or for help with their device. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-09-01. The site has been offline since 2026-09-11, and as of 2026-10-19 its content remains blocked by the hosting provider.
How the scam works
The "Technical Edition" label is designed to sound like an official maintenance or support build of Ledger Live, a version the victim might think they need for a sync problem, a firmware issue or a security check. Fake Ledger Live pages of this kind typically lead the visitor to a step where they must "restore" or "verify" the wallet by typing in the 24-word recovery phrase. Ledger never asks for that phrase online or inside the app. Anyone who enters it gives the attacker full control of the wallet, and the funds can be moved off the device without the hardware wallet ever being touched.
Evidence
On 2026-09-13, VirusTotal showed 9 of 89 engines flagging the page. The vendors included BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Kaspersky, Sophos, G-Data, Lionic and alphaMountain.ai. That count is modest but comes from several major independent vendors. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and automatically recognised Ledger branding on it. The domain also appears on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists alongside PhishDestroy, so wallet users on those protections were warned independently.
Infrastructure
The page ran as a free project on Cloudflare Pages, served from Cloudflare's network with a Canadian IP location. The listed registration date of 2025-10-29 is about ten months before PhishDestroy detected the page, but the phishing content itself was short-lived. It went dark on 2026-09-11, just ten days after detection. Disposable subdomains on free hosting platforms are cheap to create and easy to replace, so a takedown here often means the same lure will reappear under a slightly different name.
What to do
If you typed your recovery phrase into this page, treat the wallet as compromised. Set up a new Ledger with a freshly generated phrase and move any remaining funds to it immediately, before the attacker does. If you downloaded or installed anything from the page, remove it and scan the computer. Only use Ledger Live from Ledger's official website. Defenders should block the domain and watch for lookalike pages.dev subdomains combining "ledger" and "live" with doubled hyphens.
