PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

icrownbridge.com is an impersonation phishing site that copies the look of a banking or financial service. It presents itself under the bland page title "Home - icrownbridge" to pass as a legitimate platform. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-26. When last checked on 2026-10-19, the site was still online and serving its content, so it remains a live risk.

How the scam works

urlscan.io matched the page to a generic banking template rather than a single named bank. These sites mimic the account dashboards and login screens people already trust. Visitors are pushed to sign in, verify an account or move funds, and whatever they type goes straight to the operators. Victims typically lose account credentials, personal and identity details, and any money they deposit or transfer through the fake platform. The neutral "icrownbridge" branding lets the site pose as a new financial or bridging service without naming a real institution that might complain quickly.

Evidence

On 2026-10-01, six of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, Netcraft, SOCRadar and desenmascara.me. That count is modest, so many security products will still let the page load without a warning. urlscan.io independently returned a malicious verdict and identified the banking-impersonation pattern. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which means other researchers have tied it to tracked phishing activity.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-09-17 through TuringSign Inc. d/b/a Cosmotown, just nine days before PhishDestroy caught it. That short gap is typical of throwaway domains set up for a quick campaign. The site is hosted on the FranTech Solutions network in Luxembourg. It uses a free, automatically issued Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.

What to do

If you logged in or created an account on icrownbridge.com, change that password everywhere you reused it and turn on two-factor authentication with an authenticator app. If you entered bank or card details or sent money, contact your bank right away to block the card and dispute the transfers. Do not pay any "verification" or "release" fee the site or its contacts demand, because those payments only add to the loss. Watch for follow-up phishing that uses your leaked details. Defenders should block the domain and its hosting IP at the DNS and proxy level, and search mail and web logs for users who reached it.
