fortseason.com is an impersonation phishing site built to pass itself off as a legitimate service and harvest whatever visitors give it. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-19, less than three weeks after the domain was created. As of 2026-10-19 the domain was still reported alive, but its page content was no longer resolving. That means it is dormant rather than gone and could be pointed at a new page at any time.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages borrow the look and wording of a brand people already trust, so victims sign in, verify an account or connect a wallet without questioning it. Anything typed into the fake form, such as passwords, one-time codes, recovery phrases or card details, goes straight to the operators. The browser tab on this site reads only "Loading", a generic placeholder that does not name any brand, while we classify the site as impersonation phishing.
Evidence
On 2026-09-30, 11 of 91 VirusTotal engines marked the domain as malicious. They include alphaMountain.ai, Bfore.Ai PreCrime, BitDefender, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft. That is a minority of engines, but the vendors come from several unrelated security companies rather than one shared feed. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as a spam domain, which helps mail filters catch lure messages that point to it. Four AlienVault OTX threat pulses also reference the domain, and PhishDestroy carries it on its blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-09-01 through Spaceship, Inc. and was already serving a phishing page when PhishDestroy found it 18 days later. That short gap is typical of throwaway domains bought for a single campaign. It is hosted in Turkey on a network registered to M/S ROBI TRADERS. The site uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the address bar only means the connection is encrypted, not that the site is genuine.
What to do
If you entered a password on this site, change it immediately on the real service and on any other account that uses the same password. Then turn on app-based two-factor authentication and sign out of all active sessions. If you typed a wallet recovery phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and move your funds to a new wallet created with a fresh phrase. If you submitted card details, call your bank to block the card. Defenders should block fortseason.com at the DNS and mail gateway level and search their logs for past visits.
