PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

dogeunblocker.net is an impersonation phishing page built around the Roblox brand. It targets players who want to reach the game from networks where it is blocked. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-25, and it was still online with live content on 2026-10-19. The page title advertises "Doge Unblocker - Access Blocked Sites Without Restriction", a proxy-style tool rather than a Roblox page, while our classification and urlscan.io's brand detection both point to Roblox impersonation.

How the scam works

Unblocker sites draw in people who are locked out of games or social platforms on school, work or home networks and are eager to get around the filter. Once a visitor tries to reach Roblox through the page, a lookalike Roblox login or account prompt can collect usernames, passwords and verification codes. Those details let the operator hijack the account, drain Robux and limited items, and reuse the stolen credentials elsewhere. Because the visitor expects to log in to Roblox through the tool, the request for credentials looks normal.

Evidence

On 2026-10-03, 14 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. The vendors included ADMINUSLabs, alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Chong Lua Dao, CyRadar, ESET, G-Data and Gridinsoft. That is a minority of engines, but it spans several unrelated security companies. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and identified Roblox as the imitated brand. The domain also appears in five AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tracked it as well.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through NAMECHEAP INC on 2025-02-04, about nineteen months before PhishDestroy detected it. A domain that old may have built up some search visibility or trust before it was caught. The site sits behind Cloudflare, Inc. on an address located in Canada, which hides the origin server from visitors.

What to do

If you entered your Roblox login on this site, change your Roblox password right away and do the same anywhere you reused it. Turn on Roblox 2-Step Verification. Then check your account's linked email, active sessions and Robux or inventory history for changes you did not make. If you can no longer sign in, contact Roblox Support and report the account as compromised. Parents and schools should block the domain and warn young players that "unblocker" sites are a common route to account theft. Security teams can add it to DNS and proxy blocklists.
