PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

daydreamsonpaper.com is an impersonation phishing page that imitates Yahoo and targets Yahoo account holders. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-15. On 2026-10-19 the domain was still alive, but the phishing content was unreachable. The page title reads "Daydreams on Paper -", which suggests a personal blog rather than Yahoo, while our classification is based on the Yahoo impersonation content detected on the site.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages like this copy the look of a familiar Yahoo sign-in or account screen so visitors trust it and type in their credentials. Anything entered, such as an email address, password or verification code, goes straight to the attackers. With a working Yahoo login they can read private mail, reset passwords on linked services, including exchanges and wallets that use that inbox for recovery, and send further phishing from a trusted address.

Evidence

On VirusTotal, 10 of 92 engines flagged it as of 2026-10-15, including alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, DNS8, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft, Lionic and MalwareURL.
