connect-app.pro is an impersonation phishing page aimed at crypto wallet users. The generic "connect app" name fits the wallet-connection lures common in this kind of fraud. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-14, and it was still online and serving content on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Impersonation sites like this copy the look of a trusted crypto service and push the visitor to "connect" a wallet or confirm an action. That step usually ends in signing a malicious transaction or token approval, or typing a recovery phrase into a fake form. Either way, the operator can move the victim's assets. The page currently shows the title "Just a moment...", which is a Cloudflare browser-check screen rather than branded content, while our classification is impersonation phishing.
Evidence
On 2026-10-18, eight of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: ChainPatrol, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, Seclookup and SOCRadar. That is a modest count, but it includes ChainPatrol, a crypto-focused scanner. MetaMask and the SEAL security alliance both list the domain on their blocklists, so their own teams saw a threat to wallet users. Spamhaus also lists it in its domain blocklist with a phishing tag (DBL_PHISH).
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Spaceship, Inc. on 2026-10-12, just two days before PhishDestroy detected it. A fresh domain put to work almost immediately is typical of short-lived phishing campaigns. The site sits behind Cloudflare (AS13335, US), which hides the real origin server, and uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate. The padlock in the browser therefore says nothing about whether the site can be trusted.
What to do
Do not connect a wallet or sign anything on connect-app.pro. If you already connected, use a token-approval checker to revoke any allowances you granted, and watch the wallet for unexpected transfers. If you entered a seed phrase or private key, treat that wallet as compromised and move your funds to a newly created wallet right away. Security teams should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and report it to Spaceship and Cloudflare to speed up takedown.
