PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

binancecoins.com hosts a fake Binance mining page that pretends to be an official Binance service. The page is aimed at Binance users interested in crypto mining or investment opportunities. PhishDestroy first recorded the domain on 2026-10-18. As of the last check on 2026-10-19 the site remains alive but its DNS is inactive.

How the scam works

The page title advertises “Binance Mining”, enticing visitors to connect a crypto wallet and approve mining contracts. Victims are prompted to enter Binance login credentials or grant wallet permissions, which the attackers capture to drain funds. Once access is obtained the fraudsters can move any assets held in the compromised accounts.

Evidence

VirusTotal flagged the domain in 2 of 92 scanning engines, with alphaMountain.ai and CRDF reporting it as malicious. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and identified the Binance brand on the page. PhishDestroy and five OTX pulses also list the domain as a phishing site.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-10-17 through Hostinger operations, UAB. Hosting is provided from IP 76.13.14.1 on the AS47583 Hostinger International Limited network located in Germany. The site uses a Let’s Encrypt / YE1 certificate, which is common for legitimate sites and does not imply abuse. The short interval between registration and first detection shows a rapid deployment.
