Overview

bcbbs-vip.me presents itself as "BCB FX," a trading brand, and urlscan.io flags it as both an investment scam and a crypto scam. Its targets are people looking for forex or crypto returns who are steered to a polished "VIP" portal. PhishDestroy first saw the domain on 2026-10-09. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its scam content.

How the scam works

Sites like this one copy the look of a brokerage and show a dashboard of rising balances to win the visitor's trust. Victims are asked to register and then fund an account, usually with cryptocurrency sent to an address the operators control. The displayed profits are fabricated. When the victim tries to withdraw, new "taxes," "verification" or "unlock" fees appear, and each payment is simply more money lost. Login details and identity documents handed over during sign-up can also be reused in later fraud.

Evidence

VirusTotal returned 10 detections out of 92 engines on 2026-10-13. Vendors flagging the domain include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft, Kaspersky and LevelBlue. urlscan.io gave a malicious verdict. Beyond PhishDestroy, the domain sits on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, so wallet users already get warnings. It also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other researchers are tracking it independently.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-10-08 through GNAME.COM PTE. LTD. and was detected just a day later, a short gap typical of a campaign built to start taking money quickly. Traffic passes through Cloudflare, Inc. at an address geolocated to Canada, so the real origin server is hidden behind the proxy. The site uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the platform is legitimate.

What to do

Do not deposit anything into a BCB FX account reached through this domain, and never pay a "withdrawal fee" to release a balance, because that money will not come back. If you already sent funds, save the transaction hashes, deposit addresses and chat logs. Report them to your exchange and to police or national fraud authorities. Change any password you reused at sign-up and watch for follow-up "fund recovery" offers, which are a common second scam. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and report it to Cloudflare and the registrar.
