PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

15kayaqq.com is an impersonation phishing page that poses as a legitimate service so visitors hand over access they would only give the real one. Its inclusion on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists places it within the crypto ecosystem, where wallet holders are the natural targets. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-19. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving live content.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages copy the look and wording of a trusted brand, then ask the visitor for something valuable. Common requests include connecting a wallet, signing a transaction, entering a recovery phrase, or typing in login credentials. Anything submitted goes straight to the operators. A recovery phrase or a signed approval can let them empty a wallet with no further interaction from the victim. The browser tab shows only the bare domain name, so nothing there tells you which brand is being copied. Expect the disguise to appear only once the page loads.

Evidence

Six of 91 VirusTotal engines classified the domain as malicious on 2026-09-29: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, Kaspersky and SOCRadar. That is a minority of engines, but the vendors are independent of one another and agree on the verdict. MetaMask and SEAL list the domain alongside PhishDestroy, which means wallet software protected by those lists can warn users before they interact. AlienVault OTX references it in three threat pulses, so other researchers are tracking it too.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through Namecheap on 2026-07-16, about two months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap is typical of domains held back before a campaign goes live. The site runs on DigitalOcean infrastructure in Singapore. Its free Let's Encrypt certificate gives the padlock icon but says nothing about who operates the site.

What to do

If you connected a wallet to 15kayaqq.com, revoke any token approvals or permissions granted during the visit using a reputable approval checker. Then move your funds to a fresh wallet. If you typed in a seed phrase or private key, treat that wallet as compromised and transfer everything out immediately. Revoking approvals will not help in that case. If you entered a password, change it everywhere you reuse it and turn on app-based 2FA. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, check logs for visits since 2026-07-16, and report the hosting to DigitalOcean so the page can be taken down.
