Overview

usdc221.com is a suspicious domain on the PhishDestroy blocklist. Its name borrows the ticker of the USDC stablecoin and adds a number, a pattern common in crypto lures. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-09. The site has been offline since 2026-10-14, its content is blocked at the provider level, and it was still down at the last check on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

The page carried the title "onkeyon", which says nothing about USDC or any recognizable service. That title does not match the stablecoin branding of the domain name. Pairing a stablecoin ticker with a number usually signals an attempt to borrow the trust of a known asset. A site like this can push visitors to deposit funds, hand over wallet credentials, or sign transactions that give control of their tokens to someone else. No specific scheme has been confirmed for this domain, so anyone who interacted with it should treat any deposit, signature or entered secret as potentially compromised.

Evidence

Independent detection is thin. On 2026-10-13, VirusTotal showed only 1 of 92 engines flagging the domain, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker. PhishDestroy is the only blocklist carrying it. If you connected a wallet or signed a transaction there, review and revoke token approvals with a trusted approval checker, and move remaining assets to a fresh wallet if you entered a seed phrase. If you reused a password on the site, change it everywhere you used it and enable two-factor authentication. Defenders should block usdc221.com at DNS and proxy level and watch for similar stablecoin-ticker-plus-number domains.
