Overview

usdc006.com is a domain on the PhishDestroy blocklist. Its name borrows the USDC stablecoin ticker plus a serial-style number, a pattern that invites people holding or seeking USDC. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-09, and it has been dead since 2026-10-14, with its hosting provider blocking the content. It was still down at the last check on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

The page carried only the generic title "Home", so it reveals no brand, product or kit, and no specific scheme has been confirmed. The risk comes from a crypto-themed name on a numbered domain. Sites like this commonly ask visitors to connect a wallet, deposit stablecoins or enter recovery phrases, and anything sent or signed there cannot be reversed. Treat any request of that kind from this domain as hostile.

Evidence

Independent detection is thin. On 2026-10-13, VirusTotal showed only 2 of 92 engines flagging it, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and LevelBlue, so most scanners never caught it. It appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other researchers tracked it as part of known activity. The provider block that took the content offline is a further sign the site was judged unsafe.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2025-11-09 through Gname.com Pte. Ltd., about eleven months before PhishDestroy flagged it. That gap suggests it was registered and held in reserve, or ran quietly for a long time. It sat behind Cloudflare's network, geolocated to Canada, which hides the real origin server. The free Google Trust Services certificate only means the padlock was present and says nothing about legitimacy.
