Overview

mlb-kh.com is an impersonation phishing domain. Its name is built to read like an official regional brand site so that visitors trust it. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-13, five days after it was registered. When checked on 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving live content. The page title calls the domain "a custom short domain," which is the kind of placeholder a link-shortening service shows, while our classification is impersonation phishing.

How the scam works

Impersonation sites like this take a recognizable name and add a short regional suffix. Links are usually sent through ads, messages or redirect chains, and the borrowed name makes them look like a local official outlet. A short-link front fits that pattern, because one domain can quietly forward victims to whichever lure page the operator is running that day. Victims who follow through are typically asked to sign in, pay for an order or hand over personal details, and those details go straight to the operator.

Evidence

Seven of 92 VirusTotal engines flag the domain as of 2026-10-17: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and VIPRE. That is a minority of engines, but the vendors are independent of each other and the detections arrived within days of registration. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as a spam domain, which points to bulk messaging as the delivery channel. Four AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference it, and it is on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

It resolves to 207.174.61.1 on Amazon's AMAZON-02 network in the United States. Its certificate comes from Let's Encrypt, so the browser padlock only means the connection is encrypted.
