bagfumbled.xyz is a crypto wallet drainer, a class of site engineered to empty connected wallets by abusing transaction approval mechanisms. PhishDestroy first recorded it on 2026-09-11, roughly two weeks after the domain was registered on 2026-08-27. The site operated under the title "Bags Fumbled — See what you left on the table," framing itself as a tool for recovering missed crypto gains. It is now offline; DNS went inactive on 2026-09-29 and remained so as of the last check on 2026-10-17.
How the scam works
Wallet drainer sites lure cryptocurrency holders into connecting their wallets, typically by promising unclaimed tokens, missed airdrops, or portfolio recovery — a pitch that fits the "Bags Fumbled" framing closely. Once a wallet is connected, the site presents one or more transaction signing requests that, if approved, grant the attacker permission to transfer assets out of the victim's wallet. The theft can be near-instantaneous and covers any tokens or NFTs covered by the approved allowances. Victims lose funds directly from their own wallets without any further interaction required.
