PhishDestroy threat report
xxyzj.vip is a phishing site that poses as a legitimate service to win visitors' trust and harvest what they hand over. Its listing on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists places it squarely in the crypto space, where wallet users are the main target. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-15. As of 2026-10-19 the host still answered, but the domain's content no longer resolved.
Impersonation pages copy the look, wording and branding of a trusted platform so that a visitor believes they are on the real thing. The victim is then steered into the action the operator wants: logging in, entering a recovery phrase, or connecting a wallet and approving a request. Anything typed or signed goes straight to the attacker. That can mean a hijacked account, a wallet emptied with the victim's own seed phrase, or tokens drained through a malicious approval.
When VirusTotal last checked the domain on 2026-09-23, 11 of 89 engines flagged it. The flagging vendors included alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL under the phishing category, which lets mail filters block messages that carry the link. MetaMask's and SEAL's blocklists add warnings from the wallet and crypto-security side, and five AlienVault OTX pulses reference the domain.
The domain was registered through Gname.com Pte. Ltd. on 2026-08-31, only 15 days before PhishDestroy caught it. That short gap is typical of throwaway domains bought for a single campaign. It was hosted on CTG Server Limited's network in South Korea. Its Let's Encrypt certificate gave it a browser padlock, but the padlock only shows the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site is honest.
If you typed a password or login details on this site, change that password everywhere you reused it and turn on app-based 2FA. If you entered a seed phrase, treat the wallet as compromised and move your funds to a new wallet with a fresh phrase immediately. If you connected a wallet and signed anything, check your token approvals with a revocation tool and cancel any you don't recognize. Defenders should block the domain and its hosting IP at DNS and proxy level, and use the Spamhaus DBL listing to filter inbound mail.
