We first flagged it on 2026-09-20, and as of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its content.
How the scam works
An impersonation page borrows another site's name and look so visitors trust it. Here the borrowed identity is viphentai.org, placed on an unrelated .shop address. Pages like this usually draw people in through search results, ads or redirect chains, then ask for a login, a sign-up, payment details or a download that the real site would not require. Anything entered goes to whoever runs xarnuko.shop, not to the brand being copied.
Evidence
On 2026-09-30, VirusTotal showed 17 of 91 security engines flagging the domain. They include BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, G-Data, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, CyRadar and the Vietnamese anti-scam group Chong Lua Dao. That is broad agreement across vendors with different detection methods, not one outlier. The domain also appears in five AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tracked it independently. Among blocklists, it is currently listed by PhishDestroy.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Spaceship, Inc. on 2026-05-13. It sat for about four months before we detected it on 2026-09-20, a gap that often means a domain was registered in advance and put to use later. It is hosted on the IP Vendetta Inc. network in the Netherlands. Its Let's Encrypt certificate is free and issued automatically, so the browser padlock says nothing about who operates the site.
What to do
Leave the site and do not type anything into it. If you created an account or signed in there, change that password, and change it on any other service where you reused it. Turn on two-factor authentication wherever you can. If you entered card or payment details, contact your bank to block the card and dispute any charges you did not make. Delete and do not open any file downloaded from the domain. Defenders should block xarnuko.shop at DNS and proxy level and check logs for users who visited it.
