sitemv1cnnuj0bhz.cfd is an impersonation phishing page dressed up as Flare Network, using the project's own tagline, "Flare: The blockchain for data", as its page title. It targets Flare users and FLR holders who land on it believing they are on an official Flare page. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-10. On 2026-10-19 the host still answered, but DNS for the phishing content was inactive, so the lure was not loading.
How the scam works
The page copies Flare's branding and tagline closely enough to pass a quick glance. It sits on a random-looking .cfd domain rather than any Flare address. Fake blockchain portals like this usually push visitors to connect a wallet to claim rewards, stake or bridge FLR. They then ask for a transaction signature, a token approval or the wallet's recovery phrase. Any of these can hand an attacker control of the victim's funds, and assets moved on-chain this way are rarely recoverable.
Evidence
urlscan.io rated the site malicious and recognized the Flare Network brand on the page. On 2026-10-14, 13 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged it, including BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Emsisoft, G-Data, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and alphaMountain.ai. That is a minority of engines, but the vendors come from independent sources. The wallet-security blocklists that matter most here, MetaMask, ScamSniffer and SEAL, list the domain alongside PhishDestroy. Four AlienVault OTX threat pulses also reference it.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Spaceship, Inc. on 2026-10-09, and PhishDestroy caught it the next day. That one-day gap is typical of throwaway domains spun up for a short phishing run. The site sits behind Cloudflare (AS13335, US), which hides the actual origin server. It used a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the browser padlock only meant the connection was encrypted and said nothing about whether the site was genuine.
What to do
If you connected a wallet here, review and revoke any token approvals or permissions granted around that time with a trusted approval-management tool. Move remaining assets to a fresh wallet if you signed anything you did not fully understand. If you typed your recovery phrase into this page, treat that wallet as compromised and transfer funds to a new wallet created from a new seed immediately. Reach Flare only through addresses you have verified yourself, never through links in ads, DMs or search results. Security teams should block the domain and watch for similar random-string .cfd domains carrying Flare branding.
