PhishDestroy threat report
qunzeli.shop is an impersonation phishing site that poses as a legitimate service to win the trust of crypto users. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-15. As of 2026-10-19 the domain was still online and serving content. Its page title reads "Sorry, the website has been stopped," which suggests a shut-down notice, but the domain is live and we classify it as impersonation phishing.
Impersonation pages copy the look, wording and flow of a service people already trust, so visitors act without second-guessing. The victim is steered toward a familiar-looking login, verification or payment step. Whatever is typed in goes straight to the operators. That can include passwords, one-time codes, personal details or wallet recovery phrases. The losses that follow are account takeover, drained balances or payments sent to the scammers, often within minutes of submission.
VirusTotal results from 2026-09-29 show 15 of 91 engines marking the domain as malicious. Detections come from ADMINUSLabs, alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CyRadar, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet and Gridinsoft. Agreement among that many unrelated vendors makes a false positive unlikely. The domain also appears in five AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tied it to malicious activity on their own. It is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered through Spaceship, Inc. on 2026-05-18, about four months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap fits a domain bought ahead of time and put into use later. The site is hosted on the IP Vendetta Inc. network, with the server located in Seychelles. A cheap .shop name and offshore hosting make it easy to stand up and abandon such pages quickly.
If you entered a password on this site, change it immediately, along with any other account that uses the same password. Then turn on app-based two-factor authentication. If you typed in a wallet recovery phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and move your funds to a new wallet created from a fresh phrase. If you shared card or banking details, contact your bank to block the card and dispute any unfamiliar charges. Security teams should block qunzeli.shop at the DNS and proxy level and search logs for users who visited it. Anyone who came across the domain can report it to the registrar and the hosting provider to speed up takedown.
For this gTLD, the registrar above operates under an ICANN accreditation agreement. The links below provide the official fee schedule and current DNS abuse compliance guidance.
