The domain mogchainheroes.xyz was set up as a crypto drainer, a type of phishing site designed to trick victims into connecting their cryptocurrency wallets and then drain their funds. By impersonating a legitimate blockchain game or platform, the site lures users into approving malicious transactions that give attackers control over their assets. This is a direct financial threat, not just a credential theft attempt.

PhishDestroy identified this threat through multiple intelligence sources. VirusTotal shows that 3 out of 95 security vendors flagged the domain as malicious. It was registered on April 17, 2026, through NameSilo, LLC, and resolves to IP 188.114.97.3. The SSL certificate was issued by Google Trust Services (WE1), which is common for Cloudflare proxied sites. The domain also appears in one AlienVault OTX threat intelligence pulse and on one security blocklist. The site is currently offline.
