PhishDestroy threat report
mauihost.qpon was a phishing site that imitated Adobe. Its targets were people who expected an Adobe sign-in, shared document or account notice. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-25. The site went offline on 2026-09-26, and its DNS was still inactive when last checked on 2026-10-19.
Adobe-themed phishing usually arrives as an email or message saying a document has been shared or an account needs attention. The link opens a page styled like an Adobe login, which asks for an email address and password. Anything typed there goes to the operators, who can then take over the account. They also try the same password on email, cloud storage and work systems. At the time of checking, the page title read "Index of /", a plain directory listing, while the site was classified as Adobe impersonation.
Five of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain on 2026-09-25: alphaMountain.ai, ESET, G-Data, SOCRadar and Webroot. That is a modest count, but it comes from vendors working independently of each other. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and detected Adobe branding on the page, which supports the impersonation classification. Among the blocklists tracked here, only PhishDestroy lists the domain.
The domain was registered on 2026-09-23 through Dominet (HK) Limited. Detection followed two days later, and the site was gone a day after that. This short lifespan is typical of throwaway phishing domains used for one short campaign. The site was hosted on an Oracle Corporation network in the US. It used a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the browser padlock gave no assurance that the site was genuine.
If you entered credentials on this site, change your Adobe password right away from Adobe's official site. Then change it on every other service where you reused it, starting with your email. Turn on two-step verification for your Adobe account and review its recent sign-ins and connected devices. Be wary of follow-up messages that claim to come from Adobe. Defenders should block the domain and search mail and proxy logs for visits since 2026-09-23, then reset credentials for any users who reached it.
The linked repository preserves daily zone observations across seven ShortDot-operated TLDs, including registration volume and abuse-related indicators. This registry context is supporting background and is not an independent detection for the domain in this report.
For this gTLD, the registrar above operates under an ICANN accreditation agreement. The links below provide the official fee schedule and current DNS abuse compliance guidance.
RAA §3.18 establishes abuse-contact and handling requirements. This report can document stored outbound notices and later technical observations; it does not by itself establish receipt, investigation, remediation, or contractual non-compliance.

Google PageSpeed Insights — mobile performance audit of mauihost.qpon · checked Sep 25, 2026
An estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.
