It is an impersonation phishing page aimed at people looking for automated or AI-driven crypto trading. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-04. On 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its content.
How the scam works
The "Official Website" label in the page title is meant to convince visitors they have reached the genuine goldtrade service. Fake AI trading platforms like this usually ask for a sign-up and a deposit, then show a dashboard of steadily growing "profits" to encourage larger top-ups. When the victim tries to withdraw, new demands appear, such as taxes, verification charges or "withdrawal fees", and the money never comes back. Victims lose everything they deposited. Any identity documents, emails and passwords they submitted can also be reused for further fraud.
Evidence
On 2026-09-18, 18 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. Among them were BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, Bfore.Ai PreCrime, CRDF and CyRadar. Several of these are major endpoint and web-filtering vendors, so many users with security software will already see a warning. The domain also appears in five AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which means other researchers have tracked it independently. It is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc on 2026-04-12, about 145 days before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests it may have been registered well in advance of the campaign, perhaps to build some age before being used. The site sits behind Cloudflare, with the edge address geolocated to Canada, so the real origin server is hidden from view. It has kept running more than six weeks after detection.
What to do
Do not deposit anything, and do not pay any fee to "unlock" a withdrawal, because that money is lost as well. If you already sent funds, keep all transaction IDs and chat logs and report them to your bank or exchange and to local police. Expect follow-up "recovery" offers and treat them as part of the same fraud. If you created an account, change that password everywhere you reused it, turn on 2FA, and watch for misuse of any ID documents you uploaded. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, and search mail and web logs for visits since 2026-09-04.
