PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

biodermisstore.shop is an impersonation phishing page that poses as an online store for Biodermis. Its title reads "The Science of Skin | Biodermis". It targets shoppers looking for the brand's skincare products. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-10-16. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its content.

How the scam works

Fake brand shops copy the look, product names and tagline of a real store, then attract buyers with discounts through ads, search results or social media links. At checkout, the victim enters a name, address, phone number and payment card details. That money goes to the operators, and the order typically never arrives, or something cheap and unrelated is shipped instead. The stolen card data and personal details can then be reused for fraudulent charges or sold, which means a single purchase can cost the victim more than the price of the order.

Evidence

urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically flagged it as a fake shop. On 2026-10-16, VirusTotal showed 8 of 92 engines flagging the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, CyRadar, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and Netcraft. Spamhaus DBL lists the domain under DBL_SPAM, and it appears in 3 AlienVault OTX pulses. The domain is also on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-05-26 through Dynadot Inc., less than five months before it was detected. It resolves to 46.245.239.98, on the Malakmadze Web LLC network (GE), with the IP geolocated in the US. The site uses a TLS certificate from Let's Encrypt (YE2), so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the shop is legitimate.

What to do

If you paid on this site, contact your bank or card issuer right away. Ask them to block the card, dispute the charge and issue a replacement. Watch your statements for unfamiliar transactions, and be wary of follow-up emails or calls that refer to your order, since your contact details may have been harvested. If you reused a password you created there, change it everywhere else you use it. Defenders should block the domain and its IP at the proxy and DNS level, add it to mail and web filters, and report it to the impersonated brand and the registrar for takedown.
