The storefront was still online and serving its shop pages when last checked on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
The page title, "Air Con Centre | Portable Air Conditioners | Fans | Home Cooling," presents a narrow specialist store, which helps a brand-new site look focused and credible. Shops like this usually list appliances below normal market prices and take payment at a polished checkout. Then the product never ships, a cheap substitute arrives, or a tracking number leads nowhere. Victims lose the purchase price. They also hand over their name, address, phone number and card details, which can be reused for further fraud.
Evidence
Twelve of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-07. They include BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF and CyRadar. That is a meaningful spread of independent vendors for a retail site that a casual buyer would trust. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and specifically identified it as a fake shop. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses and on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Spaceship, Inc. on 2026-03-27, roughly six months before PhishDestroy detected it. A gap like that lets a shop build up an apparent history before it draws attention. The site is hosted on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in Georgia, a jurisdiction far removed from the generic retail brand it presents.
What to do
If you ordered from airconcentre.shop, contact your card issuer or bank right away. Report the transaction as fraud and request a chargeback, citing non-delivery. Ask for a replacement card if you entered card details, and watch your statements for unfamiliar charges. Treat the email and phone number you supplied as exposed, and ignore follow-up messages about "delivery fees" or refunds that ask for more payment.
