PhishDestroy threat report
This domain impersonates Bluefin, a legitimate decentralized exchange, and was built to steal cryptocurrency from users who interact with what appears to be a genuine swap interface. PhishDestroy first identified it on 2026-08-10. The site went offline the following day, 2026-08-11, and remains dead as of 2026-10-17. Its brief window of activity is consistent with short-lived drainer campaigns designed to hit quickly before takedown.
The page title 'Swap - Bluefin' mimics the real Bluefin trading interface, luring DeFi users into believing they are executing a legitimate token swap. When a visitor connects their wallet, the underlying drainer kit requests broad token approvals or triggers a malicious transaction that transfers assets directly to attacker-controlled addresses. The victim sees a familiar interface and loses funds or grants permissions that can be exploited repeatedly until revoked.
VirusTotal returned 15 detections from 91 scanning engines as of 2026-08-25, with flagging vendors including BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, ChainPatrol, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, and CyRadar. The domain appears on three independent blocklists: PhishDestroy, MetaMask, and SEAL. MetaMask's inclusion is particularly significant because it directly warns users at the point of wallet connection. Fifteen detections across reputable engines provides solid independent corroboration of the crypto drainer classification.
The domain was registered on 2023-01-18 through NameCheap, Inc., though the subdomain structure suggests it was weaponized much later. Traffic is routed through Cloudflare's network, assigned to IP 172.67.212.143 within CLOUDFLARENET in the US, which masks the true origin server. The TLS certificate was issued by Google Trust Services under the WE1 authority, lending the site a superficial appearance of legitimacy.
If you visited this site and connected a wallet, immediately revoke all token approvals granted to any contract associated with the session using a trusted approval-management tool. Check your wallet's transaction history for any unauthorized transfers and move remaining funds to a fresh wallet address. Do not re-enter any seed phrases or private keys on any site reached through a similar link. Security teams and wallet providers should ensure this domain and its subdomain pattern remain on blocklists, and users should verify they are on the official Bluefin domain before connecting any wallet.
