Overview

zap-tech.online is an impersonation phishing page that presents itself as "Zap Tech". Its title, written in Sorani Kurdish, reads "Welcome to Zap Tech", which points to Kurdish-speaking visitors as the intended audience. PhishDestroy first detected the domain on 2026-10-16. As of 2026-10-19 the site is still online and serving its content.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages copy the name, look and tone of a known service so visitors believe they are dealing with the real thing. The welcome title "بەخێربێیت بۆ زاپ تێک" sets up that trust before the page asks for anything. Sites like this usually push visitors to sign in, register, or hand over personal and payment details. Anything entered goes to the operators and can be used to take over accounts, commit fraud, or run follow-up scams. Victims typically lose account access, money, or sensitive personal information.
