This site is a gaming scam built to pass as Roblox. Its address imitates the familiar prefix and changes one letter in the brand name, so players who only glance at the address bar may not notice. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-27. As of 2026-10-19 it was still online and reachable behind a protective front end.
How the scam works
The page is titled "Play Free Online Games on Roblox - Sign Up to Play! - Roblox", the same wording as the real landing page, and invites visitors to log in or sign up. Schemes of this kind collect the account username and password, often with a promise of free Robux or rare items. With those credentials the operators can take over the account, strip its inventory and Robux, change the recovery email, or use it to send the same lure to the victim's friends. Young players are the usual targets, and any payment method saved on the account is also at risk.
Evidence
On 2026-10-07, 21 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain, among them BitDefender, ESET, Emsisoft, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, CyRadar and Chong Lua Dao. These vendors run separate detection systems, so their agreement is meaningful. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as phishing, four AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference it, and PhishDestroy carries it on its own blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through IONOS SE on 2026-06-25, about three months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap fits a lookalike domain held in reserve before being put to use. The hosting is located in Germany. Its certificate comes from Google Trust Services (WE1), so the browser padlock only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site is the real Roblox.
What to do
If you entered your Roblox login here, change your password at once through the official Roblox app or site, and change it anywhere else you reused it. Turn on 2-Step Verification and confirm the account email and phone number are still yours. Review recent trades, purchases and your Robux balance, and remove any payment methods you don't recognize. Parents should talk with children about lookalike addresses and fake free-Robux offers. Security teams and school or family network administrators should block the domain and report it to Roblox and to the hosting provider.
