How the scam works

18 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-03, including BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, CyRadar and Chong Lua Dao. Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Namecheap on 2026-07-14, about ten weeks before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap is consistent with a domain registered in advance and activated later for a campaign. Traffic passes through Cloudflare, with the address geolocating to Canada, so the real origin server stays hidden behind the proxy. The meaningless string vertvactbca has no connection to the OECD, which is a clear sign the domain is not official.
