How the scam works
Fake instant-exchange pages copy the real swap interface. The visitor picks a pair, enters an amount and receives a deposit address that belongs to the operators rather than the exchange. Clones like this may also ask for wallet connections or recovery phrases under the guise of "verifying" a pending order.

On 2026-09-08, 13 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. That is a meaningful count for a short-lived lookalike, and the flags came from unrelated vendors including alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Chong Lua Dao, CRDF, CyRadar, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet and G-Data. MetaMask's blocklist and the SEAL list both carry it alongside PhishDestroy, and Spamhaus lists it in its domain blocklist as DBL_PHISH. Nine AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference it, showing that several researchers tracked it independently.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc and hosted at 130.12.180.128 on the Omegatech LTD network in the Netherlands. It used a free, automatically issued Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser said nothing about whether the site was genuine. The domain went dark about two and a half weeks after PhishDestroy first saw it, a pattern typical of disposable lookalike domains.
