How the scam works
Impersonation pages like this copy the look and language of a known project and invite visitors to check eligibility, claim a reward or verify a wallet. That step is the theft. The victim is asked to connect a wallet and sign transactions or approvals, or to type in a recovery phrase or login details, and the operator uses them to empty the wallet or take over the account. The page title reads "Just a moment...", a generic browser-check screen rather than branded content, while our classification is impersonation phishing.
Evidence
Six of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-11: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. MetaMask's own blocklist and SEAL both list the site next to PhishDestroy, so the wallet-security community has flagged it independently.
