PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

united-delivery-post.org is an impersonation phishing page dressed up as a parcel carrier called "United Delivery Post". It targets people expecting a package, a large audience that is easy to reach with a convincing delivery notice. PhishDestroy first flagged the site on 2026-09-23, and it was still online with its content live on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Fake carrier sites like this one usually follow a familiar script. A text or email says a parcel is held, has an address problem or needs a small redelivery or customs fee, and links to a page titled "United Delivery Post – United Delivery Post". The victim is asked for a name, address and phone number, then for card details to pay the small charge. The fee is a pretext. The real prize is the card data and personal details, which are reused for larger fraudulent charges, account takeover attempts and follow-up scam calls.

Evidence

Independent detection is still thin. Only 3 of 91 VirusTotal engines (Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar) flagged the domain as of 2026-10-06, so most security tools would let it load without warning. Four AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference it, which shows other researchers are tracking it too. Among blocklists, only PhishDestroy lists it so far.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through eNom, LLC on 2026-01-15, roughly eight months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests it was either held in reserve or ran quietly before drawing attention. The site is hosted on FranTech Solutions in Luxembourg and uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the browser padlock only means the connection is encrypted. It says nothing about who runs the site.

What to do

If you entered card details, call your bank right away to block the card and dispute any charges, including small test payments. If you entered personal details, watch for follow-up texts and calls that pretend to be a carrier or your bank, and never share one-time codes with anyone who contacts you. If you reused a password on the site, change it everywhere you use it. To check on a real delivery, go to the shipper's site directly instead of using a link in a message. Defenders should block the domain and its hosting IP, add it to mail and SMS filtering, and report it to the registrar and hosting provider so it can be taken down.
