PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

tridons-premium.com is an impersonation phishing page that greets visitors with an unread-notification tab titled "1 new message." It has been flagged by wallet-focused blocklists, including MetaMask and SEAL, which points to crypto holders as the intended audience. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-04, and the page was still online and serving content on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

A notification-style title like "1 new message" creates urgency and curiosity, prompting the victim to open what looks like a pending alert from an account or service they trust. Impersonation pages of this kind then ask the visitor to log in, verify an account or connect a wallet to read the message. Whatever is entered, whether passwords, one-time codes, recovery phrases or a wallet signature, goes to the operators, who use it to take over accounts or move funds. urlscan.io tagged the page as a generic scam rather than a copy of one named brand.

Evidence

Eight of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-07: alphaMountain.ai, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, Netcraft, SOCRadar and URLQuery. That is a modest count, but the vendors are independent and include phishing specialists. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict, and Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL under the phishing category. Beyond PhishDestroy, the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists carry it, and two AlienVault OTX pulses reference it.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc on 2026-09-30, only four days before PhishDestroy detected it. That pattern fits a site built to be used quickly rather than kept for long. It is hosted in the US on the PONYNET network operated by FranTech Solutions and uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate. The padlock in the browser proves only that the connection is encrypted, not that the site is legitimate.

What to do

If you typed a password or code on this page, change that password everywhere you reuse it and reset two-factor authentication on the affected account. If you entered a recovery phrase, treat the wallet as compromised and move your assets to a newly created wallet immediately. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, review and revoke unfamiliar token approvals. Security teams should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, alert users about "new message" lures, and check their logs for any visits to the site.
