Both the subdomain and the domain name repeat "kraken" and "ssylka" (Russian for "link") so they look like the right result in search. Pages like this send visitors to a lookalike login, where usernames, passwords and one-time codes are captured. With those, the attacker can take over the account and its balance.
Evidence
Detection is still thin. On 2026-10-06, VirusTotal showed only 3 of 91 engines flagging the domain: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and SOCRadar.
