How the scam works
Impersonation pages copy the branding, layout and wording of a service people already use, then ask for whatever the operator can monetise. That is usually a login, a one-time code, or a wallet connection and recovery phrase. Here the bare "Tap" title suggests a tap-to-earn or mini-app style lure. The redirect means the domain acts as an entry point, forwarding victims to wherever the phishing content currently lives. Anything typed into that flow should be treated as handed to the attacker, which can mean a hijacked account or an emptied balance.
Evidence
On 2026-10-03, 15 of 91 VirusTotal engines classified the domain as malicious. Those engines included BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, CRDF, alphaMountain.ai and Bfore.Ai PreCrime. Agreement across both established antivirus vendors and predictive domain-scoring services makes a false positive unlikely. The domain also appears in five AlienVault OTX threat pulses, showing that other researchers have tracked it independently. PhishDestroy lists it on its blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc on 2026-08-01, about seven weeks before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap is consistent with a domain set aside and then put into use once a campaign started. Traffic is served through Cloudflare's network, with the address geolocated to Canada, so the real origin server stays hidden. Its certificate from Google Trust Services is issued automatically, so the browser padlock says nothing about whether the site is genuine.
What to do
If you only opened the page, close it and do not follow the redirect again. If you entered a password or 2FA code, change that password immediately and turn on app-based or hardware-key 2FA. Also sign out of all other sessions on the real service. If you typed a recovery phrase, consider that wallet compromised and move any funds to a new wallet created on a clean device. Defenders should block tapandmusiclab.live at DNS and proxy level and report it to Cloudflare and Dynadot for takedown.
