The site has been offline since 2026-10-07, and its content was still blocked by the provider at our last check on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

The "Official Site" wording is the hook. It is meant to convince visitors they are on the genuine Strendus platform, so they register and deposit without a second thought. Fraudulent casinos of this kind accept deposits by card or crypto and may show winnings on screen. They then stall payouts or demand extra "verification" or "withdrawal" payments before any money is released. Victims lose everything they deposited, along with any personal or payment details they entered at signup.

Evidence

On 2026-09-29, seven of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: ChainPatrol, alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That is a modest count, but it spans crypto-focused, commercial and AI-driven vendors working independently. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and matched it to generic gambling branding. Beyond PhishDestroy, the domain is listed by MetaMask and SEAL, so wallet users are warned before they reach it. It also appears in three AlienVault OTX threat pulses.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-04-06 through Spaceship, Inc., more than five months before PhishDestroy flagged it. That gap means the site had a long window to collect deposits before it was detected. It sat behind Cloudflare, Inc. on an address that geolocates to Canada, which hides the real origin server. The site's current offline state follows provider-level blocking rather than a voluntary shutdown.

What to do

If you deposited money on strenduss.com, stop all further payments, especially any fee requested to "unlock" a withdrawal. Contact your bank or card issuer about a chargeback, and keep your account screenshots and payment receipts.
